To our amazing customers and valued community,  

Sadly, we have come to the end of our era in running Steph’s Fabrics and we will be closing our doors in Broulee. 

Our community of sewists, artists and creatives has brought us so much joy and inspiration over the last twenty five years. We cherish every personal relationship that we have had the pleasure of forming. We truly love the friendships with our regular long distance visitors as well as those that we see every morning over coffee.  

We are especially grateful to our amazing teachers and workshop leaders that have really fostered our community and comradery. We absolutely owe our teachers so much gratitude for helping us achieve our dream of being a safe space to express ourselves through art and colour.  Their advice, patience and commitment to our shop has enabled us to share the joy of learning “something new” for the last two decades.  

Many of you may have been aware that the shop had been for sale for some time and not finding the right buyer has been disappointing for us. 

We will be closing early 2026. We do not know the exact date as yet. When we do, we will let you know.   

ALL scheduled workshops will be running as usual and all gift vouchers will be honoured. 

The journey may be over for the shopfront, but we hope to continue hosting events/workshops/gatherings in the near future and will be informing you when alternate plans are in place.

Your support has sustained us for so long but, unfortunately, the rising cost of overheads has forced us to make this very sad and difficult decision. Many thanks for allowing us to share the love of fabric and all things sewing and creating with you. It has been a privilege.
